On Wednesday 9th December, the CEO and Managing Director of Recycling Lives attended the Business in the Community (BITC) AGM & Annual Leadership Networking event. BITC is a charity with more than 30 years’ experience of mobilising business to find solutions to create a more sustainable and rewarding future for all. Being a member of BITC allows Recycling Lives to work with like-minded businesses to help to tackle the key challenges facing society today, in areas such as the environment, education, employment and enterprise.
The 2015 event took place in London and included over 450 business leaders. Recycling Lives and other new members to BITC were officially welcomed by charity president HRH Prince Charles. Recycling Lives originally joined the BITC Network back in June.
Steve Jackson OBE, CEO of Recycling Lives stated:
“I am delighted on behalf of Recycling Lives to be welcomed into Business in the Community. Their values and beliefs and what they are trying to achieve are similar to that of Recycling Lives. We hope to use our membership positively to form greater relationships and add more social value in 2016 and beyond.”
