Recycling Lives’ health and safety standards have been given the seal of approval by a leading accreditation scheme.
Alcumus SafeContractor has awarded accreditation to the organisation for demonstrating excellence in the workplace.
It is the third consecutive year the recycling and waste management business has earned the health and safety standard.
The accreditation recognises the rigour at Recycling Lives’ sites, and means the organisation continues to rank alongside the likes of FTSE 100 companies for its health and safety management.
Simon Green, health and safety manager for Recycling Lives, said:
“Our application for a third SafeContractor accreditation was driven by our commitment to the highest standards of health and safety. This not only ensures the wellbeing of our valued workforce but also assures clients of our integrity.
“It gives me great pleasure in knowing that everyone’s hard work and effort within the company, and their commitment towards Health and Safety, is recognised to such a level.”
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors.
Gemma Archibald, director of Alcumus SafeContractor, said:
“More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Recycling Lives has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example in its sector.”
